Megan will take you through a range of T-shirt based projects: shape altering, transforming a tee into a wide variety of skirts, accessories (iPod cozies, legwarmers, scarves), even home decorations (pillows, blankets, seat cushions). Many of her T transformations are unintimidatingly no-sew. In order to spread the good T-shirt word on self-expression, recycling, and rebellion against cookie cutter fashion, she'll be hosting these "Tee Parties" throughout the spring as part of a book promotion tour for her new book Generation T: 108 Ways to Transform a T-Shirt which will be on store shelves in March of this year.

She is also a founding member of a NYC-based crafting collective called the Department of Craft. Their credo is to rebel against the bureaucratization and mass-production of fashion and lifestyle goods through DIY.
